Day 01 : Delhi Namaste! You have landed on Indira Gandhi International Airport. Our representative will be present on the airport and he will act as a perfect guide and a friend. He will help you to move your baggage out of the airport and from there to nearest booked hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi This will be your second day in Delhi. You will start early. In the morning itself a slide show presentation will be held which will make you aware of the Delhi city. The base of the slide show will be ancient Indian Architecture. Post lunch you will be involved in the sightseeing tour. The tour will focus both Old Delhi and New Delhi.
Old Delhi was the ruling capital of Mughals and hence you can observe array of forts and palaces with Mughal architecture.
New Delhi, a recently developed city also houses ancient pieces of heritage. There are certain latest built monuments as well. Lotus temple and Akshardham temple in Delhi are just few to mention.
We will call your day off by evening, so that you can relax and get ready for another day which will be as hectic as this one. Resort back to hotel. Day 03 : Delhi This will be your third day in Delhi and there are still so many attractions to unfold. After breakfast, you will be visiting National Museum. The musuem instores 2,00,000 works of exquisite art, belonging to both Indian and Foreign art. The museum covers more than 5000 years of our cultural heritage.
Post Lunch, you will visit Craft museum. The craft musuem showcases extraordinarliy rich handicraft. The travellers love the prsence of craftmanship and is popular t also famous for the artistic display of various villages.
Late evening, resort back to hotel where you will catch the Indian Classical dance troupe. They will show case their talent in the form of dances which belongs to India. The dance is followed by the dinner Interested
Day 04 : Delhi- Khajuraho From Delhi you will move to Khajuraho. Khajuraho is another most saught destination of India. Khajuraho is known for housing the exquiste temples which displays the basic need of man in the form of sculptures. The erotic sculptures in Khajuraho are alluring to the travellers.
The remarkable monuments exemplify from Kamsutra. These temples are included in World Heritage Sites. Divided into three - Western, Eastern and Southern, Khajuraho temples offers array of temples to explore.
Day 05 : Khajuraho Next morning, you will explore the Western group of temples. In this group, you have Chitragupta Temple , Kandariya Mahadeo, Chaunsat Yogini, Lakshamana Temple and Matangeswara Temple.
In Khajuraho, you have numnber of things to explore. Post Lunch, Panna National Park will form the next tourist attractions. Situated 57 kms from Madhya Pradesh, Panna national park is known for housing number of wildlife species. The national park is known for inhabiting wild cats - Tigers. The other species which you could capture on your wildlife tour are wolf, chital, sloth bear, chinkara, and sambar.
Day 06 : You will be totally dedicating this day to Khajuraho excursions. We will try to explore those destinations which we can cover with in one day. Ken Nature Trail , Kalinjahar fort and Pandav Falls will form the major tourists spot to explore. Resort back to hotel on the same day
Day 07 : Khajuraho - Orchha Next morning , you will drive to Orccha. Resort to the hotel. You will be served with warm cup of coffee.
Orccha is one destination which is founded in 16 th and 17 th centuary by a rajput king. The city houses number of attractions which include Orcha Fort Complex, Ram Raja Temple and Phool bagh
Famous for its temples and palaces, Orchha is an excellent destination to explore. This multifaceted city of Madhya Pradesh is just a must on heritage tour.
While travelling from Khajuraho to Orchha, you will halt at the nearest ‘Dhaba’. In Dhaba, good food will be served. Visit the nearest Jhanghir Mahal Palace. This is one of the most admired palace of all time. The temple was constructed by Bir Singh Deo. Travel to Orccha and make your holiday a dream come true.
Day 08 : Agra - Taj Mahal In Agra, there are number of tourist attractions to explore. After breakfast, you can visit Agra fort. It is an introduction to Indo-Persian architecture of the Timurid Dynasty. If you are in Agra, you just cannot miss Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal is just the best place to be in. Adore Taj Mahal as you enroll yourself in ballooning. Taj Mahal is one of the magnificent architectural wonder is an attractive tourist destination for most of the traveller.
Taj Mahal is an ultimate monument of Love and was constructed by Shahjahan for his beloved Mumtaz Mahal. You can purchase a miniature Taj Mahal, made of soft marble. These miniature Taj Mahal can act as a memorabilia and can also act as a souvenir.
Near Taj Mahal, you have the famous Agra Fort. Agra Fort is constructed in the Indo Saraccenic style of architecture and reflects the period of Mughal era.
Day 09 : Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur From Agra, you will move to Jaipur. In between, you will also visit Fatehpur Sikri which falls on the way to Jaipur. Fatehpur Sikri is a perfect combo of Arabic architecture and Indian building styles. It resembles a holy mosque in Mecca- a greatest Muslim pilgrimage. Late evening you will drive to Jaipur.
Day 10 : Jaipur Jaipur will be your next stop and in Jaipur we are sure you would like to stay for more. Being the capital city of Rajasthan, Jaipur becomes the most saught destinations in India. Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Amber Palace and Jantar Mantar are few of the sights which you are going to explore.
In Jaipur, you will resort to one of the famous heritage hotels. This will make your stay all the more worth while. Jaipur is a magnificent city and you will just love to explore this city.
Unlike other tour itineraries, your Jaipur travel will involve visiting block printing factory, gem cutting, carpet factory, silk shops.
Day 11 : Jaipur - Udaipur From Jaipur, you will move to Udaipur. We have fixed your flight from Jaipur to Udaipur. You will reach Udaipur in the first half. Resort to your booked hotel.
Post lunch a general introduction on Udaipur and session on Indian architecture will be given. This will give you a chance to understand India better as well as it will help you on your exploration.
Day 12 : Udaipur In Udaipur, there are array of attractions to explore. You will visit City Palace and its museum. It will give you a chance to have a look at the world miniture painting. You will also visit Saheliyon ki Bari and Ladies Garden
After Jaipur, Udaipur is another shoper’s paradise. Hathi Pol, Bada Bazaar, Chetak Circle, Bada Bazaar and Palace Road are some of the famous market places in Udaipur.
After exploring all the attractions, you will resort to your hotel in the evening. After your dinner, you will watch a slide show on old Mughul, Rajput, Jain, Deccani paintings.
Day 13 : Udaipur ( Ranakpur Temples) This will be your second day in Udaipur. Ranakpur temples form a major attractions of Udaipur and you must visit Ranakpur temples on your Rajasthan tour. Ranakpur temples is one of important pilgrim centres in Udaipur. Nestled on Arravali ranges, Ranakpur is a famous destination to explore. Ranakpur temples were constructed in 15th century AD. Day 14 : Aurangabad From Udaipur, you have a flight to Bombay and from Bombay you are lnked to Aurangabad. Located 375 kms from Mumbai, Aurangabad is quite famous for its caves. The city was founded by Malik Amber in the early 16 th centuary and was intially named as Khadke or the Big rock.
With in Aurangabad, there are number of attraction which could make your travel a worth while exploration. Your first day in Aurangabad will be completely relaxing and will provide you a genuine energy and zeal to explore it
Day 15 : Ajanta Caves After breakfast without any further delay, you will move out on your exploration. Ajanta caves is counted as the World Heritage Site. This is one of the most beautiful site and the only in the 19 th centuary. Ajanta caves are located 99-km away from Aurangabad district in the state of Maharashtra.
You cannot leave this picturesque destination like this. Just try to capture some of these sights on your camera. Outside Ajanta caves, there are number of small and big shops which sells soveniers. Try to collect somme of them.
Day 16 : Ellora Caves Ellora caves are another World Heritage Site to view. 34 in number, Ellora caves is 30 kms from Aurangabad. Ellora caves are showcases some of the finest temple architecture. The 12 caves to the south are Buddhist, the 17 in the centre dedicated to Hinduism, and the 5 caves to the north are Jain. Ellora has attracted chroniclers, antiquarians, scholars, and in the more recent years an ever increasing number of tourists.
Post Lunch, you will fly to Bombay and visit Prince of Wales Museum, the largest Fine Art Museum in India and Hanging Gardens. We have chosen just two tourists spot as it will be difficult for you to actually explore more than that.
Day 17 : Bombay Bombay derives its name from Mumba Devi. This will be your second day in Bombay and you will be exploring many tourists spots. Gateway of India, Flora Fountain and Ellora caves are just the best locales to explore.
Try the Bhel Puri Chaat at the Juhu beach which is the perfect localite dish. Late evening, you rock the dance floors . Bombay boast a number of discotheques which will make your travel an experience by itself.
Day 18 :Bombay
After breakfast, you will venture out to shop. You can choose your desired destination. Chor Bazaar or Crawford Market. There are number of shopping destination in Bombay from where you can shop almost anything.
Post lunch, you will be engaged in Bombay Heritage Walking Club (art & architecture students /professionals). They organize a 2 hr. walk through the old part of Bombay and also interact with the local people. This will be a nice experience on your part as it will make you understand the city better. |
